Checklist: 7 days after website launch

Checklist: 7 days after website launch

“Pushed to prod” is not the finish line — it is day zero. The first week shows whether forms, tags, index, mobile speed, and the ad link are alive. Skip the control and a month later you discover leads went nowhere while Google saw `noindex`. A checklist for owners and contractors in Uzbekistan: days 0–7 with priorities. Fits a new site and a redesign after switchover. UZNEO runs launches the same way: short fact-based control, not a 40-slide report “for the checkbox.”

01Why the first week of control matters

On launch day everything “kinda works” on the developer’s Wi‑Fi. Real users in Tashkent arrive on 4G, old Androids, and messengers. In 7 days you can: • catch broken forms and 404s; • confirm analytics is writing; • get the site into the index; • avoid burning ad budget for nothing; • set a manager reply rhythm.

02Day 0 — the moment of prod switch

☐ DNS / hosting point to the new version ☐ HTTPS without warnings; www/non-www → one canonical ☐ Homepage and 5–10 key URLs open on a phone over 4G ☐ Form: test lead marked “test” arrived (email / CRM / Telegram) ☐ `tel:` and messengers open ☐ No password / basic auth on prod ☐ `noindex` removed (if it was on staging) ☐ Favicon, OG image for Telegram share (if possible) ☐ Redirects from old URLs (if migration) ☐ Previous version backup available Stop factor: form does not arrive or site does not open on 4G — do not turn on ads.

03Day 1 — analytics, Search Console, maps

☐ GA4 / Metrika: your visit visible in Realtime ☐ GTM: container published on the prod domain ☐ Events: form, phone click, messenger ☐ Google Search Console: property verified, sitemap submitted ☐ robots.txt allows needed sections ☐ Google Business / 2GIS: site link updated ☐ Corporate mail on the domain works (MX did not break at DNS) Create a short “launch” channel/chat: owner + contractor + manager. First 48 hours — error screenshots there. On analytics — GA4 and Metrika.

04Day 2 — speed, mobile, content bugs

☐ Lighthouse / PageSpeed — mobile pass on key URLs (a guide, not a score cult) ☐ Heavy video does not block the first screen ☐ Fonts and images compressed; no obvious CLS “layout jumps” ☐ Broken images, empty blocks, “lorem ipsum” ☐ RU/UZ language switches go where they should ☐ Legal pages: contacts, details, privacy — in place If speed is bad — fix before scaling Ads. A slow landing kills SEO and CPL. Tech guide — Core Web Vitals.

05Day 3 — SEO hygiene and 404s

☐ Spot-check 20 old/important URLs → 200 or correct 301 ☐ 404 report on server / in analytics ☐ Title and H1 on main services are not “Home” / “Untitled” ☐ Internal links in menu and footer work ☐ Sitemap returns the current list ☐ No mass “Blocked / noindex” in GSC For new sites do not expect rankings “tomorrow” — make sure nothing blocks indexing. For migrations — that equity flows via 301. Meaning audit — SEO site audit.

06Day 4 — leads, CRM, manager replies

☐ Another test lead from a different device ☐ CRM card created with source `site` / UTM ☐ Manager notification (Telegram/email) arrives ☐ Reply SLA: who replies and how fast in business hours ☐ Auto-reply in messenger if people write at night ☐ Ban “leave the number in my DMs” bypassing CRM A site without a reply in 30–60 minutes in a competitive Tashkent niche loses the lead — ads will be “blamed” unfairly. Tracking link — funnel site → Ads → bot → CRM.

07Day 5 — ads and UTM

If Ads already ran or are launching: ☐ Landings from ads return 200 ☐ UTM or auto-tagging visible in analytics ☐ Conversions in Google Ads / Meta receive test events ☐ Geo and language match the business area ☐ Budget moderate until the control week closes Do not scale spend on days 0–3 if the form is doubtful. Ads checklist — setting up Google Ads; tags — UTM.

08Days 6–7 — owner summary and backlog

Build a one-page report:

☐ Bug list with P1/P2 priority ☐ Re-check date in 14 days ☐ Who owns content and further fixes ☐ Backup and access with the owner, not only the contractor P1 (fix now): form, phone, noindex, mass 404s, DNS/mail down. P2 (within a week): copy, secondary pages, UI cosmetics.

09Typical first-week mistakes

• Treated launch as a party and assigned no owner. • Checked the site only from a Mac + Wi‑Fi. • Turned on Ads before a test lead. • Left staging-noindex. • Did not update the Google Business link. • Managers did not know the site already takes leads.

Summary

Seven days after launch are fact control: form, tags, index, speed, CRM — and only then ad scale. Deploy without a control week is a delayed surprise. Walk days 0–7 on the checklist, lock P1/P2, and re-check in 14 days. If the site is still in progress — website development in Tashkent; if you need a stack audit — 30-minute digital audit. UZNEO accompanies launch calmly: green checkmarks matter more than a pretty “done” in chat.
